Adega da Marina

Adega da Marina - One of our favourites. It's a converted warehouse and seats hundreds of people, huge portions of charcoal-grilled meat and fish and very affordable jugs of house wine (try the tart da natas for desert if you have room).

Having visited Lagos for many years eventually went into Adega four years ago and always make a point of eating there when in the algarve. Great value, great taste, staff very friendly...Iain, Dundee, Scotland

Anywhere that has a queue outside to get in has got to be worth a try! Get there early evening,or you'll be queueing too. The menu is limited, but the daily fish menu is fairly extensive. My kids love to share a plate of pork ribs, cos you get a pile! The veal, cooked in garlic butter is great. Very simple food, great prices, house wine is cheaper than water! As a family of four we have eaten (and drunk) there for less than 25 euros. The atmosphere can be loud and bustling, but is great for families; and the locals love it too!

Great place - simple and delicious food, simply served by friendly staff. All fish is great there and you just have to try the cattlefish babies served with potatoes as you'll be back for more :)!

Compared to other restaurants, the prices are comparable.

Used to go here until we discovered Bar Lota across the canal. The awesomest grilled fish place ever - how can you have missed it?

A must visit for anyone going to Lagos. Have been going there for 20+ years, good fresh cooked food, and the daily Prato do dia is generally cracking and good value for money! (but don't get there much after 13.00 as it sells quickly) Good mix of people, including many Portugese. Great for people watching! Highly regarded.MF
