The Garden

The Garden is a fresh and different idea for Lagos. Beautifully set, as the name suggests, in a relaxing garden in the centre of town. Sit among the palm and lemon trees on comfortable furniture or even a hammock and enjoy food and drinks.

The menu is varied and fun, most of which you can see being cooked by chefs on the huge outdoor grill.

The bar area is cleverly separate from the dining area making it a great place for patrons to enjoy sports on the big TVs without affecting the enjoyment of diners.

This is a "must visit" place when spending time in Lagos.

This venue is stylishly decorated and features artworks and designs by the talented Robalot.

Pouso do Infante

Pouso do Infante - This restaurant is a real treat. The interior is tastefully designed with modern, comfortable furniture, nice cutlery and crockery. The walls are dressed with back lit navigators crests. The kitchen is behind frosted glass through which you can make out the flashes of flame giving a appetising drama to your forthcoming meal. The couvert is very good with a selection of tasty breads, home-made tuna paté and cod cakes. Starters begin from as little as €1.50 for soup. The wine selection is simple, good and well priced. With popular favourites at around €8 that we have seen sold in other places for well over €10. The timing between courses was perfect making for a relaxed experience. The choice of main dishes is vast with the many specials. Most dishes come with a choice if salad or veggies and several potato options which are served in stylish twinned side dishes.

All in all, a terrific experience throughout from the friendly hosts.

To top it all they have the best toilet door signs we has seen.

Pashmina

Pashmina - This fine Indian restaurant has had a branch in Praia da Luz for a while now and we have always enjoyed their food. So, good news, they now have a place in Lagos. They are situated just off the Avenida behind the Repsol station. The restaurant is nicely presented and the service is very good. The waiters see you are well looked after without being all over you. The food is delicious with close attention to flavour rather than just spicy. Great to have you in Lagos Pashmina.
